RSC Top Of The Bench 2017 - Come Join Us!

Royal Society of Chemistry “Top of the Bench” competition for KS3 and KS4 students

The University of Exeter will be holding a regional heat for the Royal Society of Chemistry  “Top of the Bench” competition aimed at KS3 and KS4 students on

Wednesday, 13th December
from 10.30am
Geoffrey Pope Building at the University of Exeter

This competition is designed to encourage and reward high achievement and is an excellent opportunity to showcase talent in the local area.  The regional heat will take the form of a practical test and a quiz.  The winners will be announced in a short awards ceremony at the end of the event  The winners of the regional heat will progress to a national final held in the Spring.

If you would like to nominate a team please select 4 students. 2 students from year 9,  1 student from year 10 1 student from year 11  - Team members must be in these school years for the heats and the National Final.

Please be aware:
  • Only students that have not taken part in the competition previously may enter in order to widen participation.
  • Each team must be accompanied by one teacher.
  • Parking at the University requires a permit - please contact me (way) in advance if you require.
  • Lunch is not provided but there are plenty of places to eat on campus.
